Dear Parent,

Thank you for your interest in the Paint Branch High School Child Development Program.  We are pleased that you are beginning your child’s education now when learning is so fast and so important.  We look forward to working with you and your child as s/he grows and progresses.

The Preschool Program is designed to provide an environment where children who are 4 years old can develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.   High school students are trained to provide individual attention that addresses the needs of each preschooler.  They ensure a warm, loving, kind environment with an exciting and adventuresome atmosphere.  We are committed to a safe, healthy environment where learning can take place.

The varied curriculum includes lessons in language arts, science and nature, math and numbers, social studies, music and dance, physical education/health and arts and crafts.  Changing themes range from community helpers to holiday celebrations to rockets and space.  Alphabet and counting skills overlay the curriculum providing a rich, stimulating educational experience.  Montgomery County Public Schools provides a curriculum of enduring understandings that prepares the child for entry to kindergarten.

Pre-school will start in mid-October and run through the beginning of June.
